(NewsNation) — A group of students in St. Petersburg, Florida, is helping other students with food insecurities in need through a local nonprofit organization.

NewsNation features Gina Wilkins for American Hero where she shares the story of how The Kind Mouse received its name and calls attention to Chronically hungry children in Pinellas County. Gina shares the process of the children of the program and what they do in Mice-In-Training, Mice Interns, and MOUSEVision.
